🌊 TEMPLETON JOG-A-THON FUNDRAISER: DEEP SEA DASH! 🐬

Greetings Templeton Families,

The PSO is thrilled to announce this year's Jog-a-thon: The Deep Sea Dash! This is our primary fundraiser, and our quest is to unite our whole school community as we ride the current together, buoying up the programs that help every student make a splash. Grab your fins, prepare your swimmer (student), and get ready to dive in!

• Dive In Date: Now - Begin collecting donations!

• Event & Wrap-Up:

  • Friday, September 25 - Jog-a-thon event

  • Wednesday, September 30 - Donations due for prize consideration

🎯 Event Goal & Use of Funds

• School Goal: $30,000

• Individual Student Goal: $60

• Funds raised support:

🐚 How to Buoy the Cause (Donations)

1. Dive over to templeton.pledgestar.com!

2. Click "Not Registered For This Year's Event"

3. Enter your name & email, then click Submit

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your swimmer(s)

⭐ Pledgestar can email requests to your sea of family & friends, collect secure online donations, and lets you track your current progress. Need help? Call Pledgestar at 1-888-598-7510 ⭐

Alternate Buoy: Cash or Checks

• Make checks payable to Templeton Elementary PSO

• Collect in the provided envelope and return to the reef (school office) by Wednesday, September 30 @ 4pm

Running Achievements

• Swimmers who hit their lap goal earn an extra recess!

  • 5 laps or more for kindergarten and grade 1

  • 7 laps or more for grades 2 and 3

  • 8 laps or more for grades 4 and 5

• Entire swim team (school) runs 2,500 laps = School-wide Dress-Up Day!

• ⭐ Starfish ($25): Sea Creature Pop Fidget Keychain

• 🐬 Dolphin ($50): Under the Sea Multicolor Pen

• 🦈 Shark ($100): Ocean Punch Balloon & Temporary Tattoos

• 🐳 Whale ($200): Under the Sea Stationary Set

• 🐙 Kraken ($500+): $25 Dutch Bros gift card + Principal for a Day raffle drawing entry

Class Challenges

• Pajama & Games Party for classes that raise over $1500

• Special prize for the swim crew (class) with the highest participation % (participation = signing up on Pledgestar site)

👕 Deep Sea Dash T-Shirts

As a thank-you for joining this sea quest, every student, staff member, and teacher will receive a FREE Deep Sea Dash T-shirt.

• Shirts distributed on Friday, September 25 during the Jog-a-thon

• Swimmers absent that day will still receive their gear after the event

Saludos familias de Templeton,

La Organización de Padres y Maestros (PSO) están encantados de anunciar el tema del Jog-a-thon de este año: ¡La Carrera Oceánica! Esta es nuestra recaudación de fondos principal, y nuestro objetivo es unir a toda nuestra comunidad escolar mientras corremos juntos con la corriente, apoyando los programas que ayudan a cada estudiante a sobresalir. ¡Tome sus aletas y prepárense para lanzarse al océano!

Horario

• Colecte donaciones: Desde ahora hasta el miércoles 30 de septiembre

• Evento Jog-a-thon: viernes 25 de septiembre, de 8:30 a 10:30 de la mañana

Cómo hacer una donación

• Crea una cuenta en templeton.pledgestar.com → “No estás registrado para el evento de este año” → inscribe a tu(s) atletas. Desde aquí puedes enviar solicitudes por correo electrónico a familiares y amigos para que puedan donar en línea. ¡Recibirás una pegatina del Jog-a-thon!

• O en efectivo o con cheque a nombre de “Templeton Elementary PSO”, y entregarlo en la oficina

Recompensas

• ¡Los estudiantes que alcancen su objetivo de vueltas ganarán un recreo extra!

  • 5 vueltas o más para Kinder y 1ro

  • 7 vueltas o más para 2ndo y 3ro

  • 8 vueltas o más para 4to y 5to

  • Si toda la escuela logra recorre 2,500 vueltas, reciberan un día de disfraces para todos!

Niveles de premios por recaudación de fondos

• 🐚 Charco de marea (Inscripción): Pegatina del Jog-a-thon «Carrera Oceánica»

• ⭐ Estrella de mar ($25): llavero antiestrés con forma de criatura oceánica

• 🐬 Delfín ($50): bolígrafo oceanico multicolor

• 🦈 Tiburón ($100): globo y tatuajes temporales

• 🐳 Ballena ($200): Set de papelería con tema oceanico

• 🐙 Kraken (+$500): $25 tarjeta regalo de Dutch Bros y entrada de rifa para ser Director por un dia!

Retos por clase

• Fiesta de pijamas y juegos para las clases que recauden más de $1,500 

• Premio especial para la clase con la mayor participación (registrándose en la página web de Pledgestar)

¡Todos los estudiantes y miembros del personal recibirán una camiseta GRATIS de “la carrera oceánica”!
Los niveles de premios son acumulativos: Si alcanza el nivel “Tiburón”, también obtendrás los premios “Estrella de mar” y “Delfín”.
